Students are being 'produced', not educated.
A great education is one of the most important requirements for developing a more peaceful world.
It is a simple reality that human 'ignorance' will always lead to wars, violence, suffering,...in the world. While human 'intelligence' or wisdom will lead humanity to peace, happiness, cooperation and unity.
It is obvious what that state of the human condition is today. It is mired in ignorance.
One of the primary reasons for this, is that school curriculums do not teach students how to be more intelligent. They only teach 'knowledge based' subjects. English, Maths, Science...are all knowledge based subjects. Most students develop these skills well enough. However ask a student the 'true cause' behind wars and violence in the world and they have no idea. They have never been taught anything about the influence of the human mind or the effects of self-centredness and greed in the world.
So with no 'intelligent' understanding of their own minds or the world in which they live, each generation heads out into society only to repeat that same mistakes of previous generations.
| "It is important to understand, that the only real enemy in the world is ignorance" |
For this reason, human intelligence is an absolutely vital subject which needs to be introduced into school curriculums around the world. Students need to develop their level of wisdom and understanding to a much higher level than what exists today, or they will be no better equipped to deal with the challenges that they will face.
It is important to understand that the only real enemy in the world is 'ignorance'. It is from ignorance that all problems take root. It is human ignorance that leads to the wars, violence, greed and suffering in the world. It is ignorance that turns one person against another, and one country against another. And so it is only by raising 'humanity's intelligence' above such ignorance or lack of understanding, that we can solve these problems and achieve a more peaceful and cooperative world.
