Some recommendations for the IRG 'Action Plan'.
Government:
- The implementation of a new international model of 'Political Leadership Standards' (PLS) to improve the overall level of wisdom and quality of leadership in governments around the world. There should be no reason for politicians to object to such pre-requisite standards when virtually all other professional people in society require pre-requisite standards for their jobs. Such standards are essential to protect the lives of all people that continue to suffer due to the self-centred and poor decisions of many leaders; people for example that endorse the selling of weapons around the world for financial gain, while completely disregarding the lives of those that are killed due to such insane decisions. Their lack of humanity or intelligence is at times astounding.
The Economy:
- The restructuring of the economic system from a 'competitive' model to a 'cooperative' model. This would need to based on a 'phased implementation process' to ensure stability during the transitional changeover.
- The implementation of new incentives to support the transitional changeover and encourage all business enterprises to develop and improve the state of the world, instead of exploiting and consuming all available resources for profit-based motives.
Education:
"A society can only be as great as its people"
- The recommendation for a new subject on 'Human Intelligence' to be implemented into education systems worldwide. The greatest enemy of humanity today is not terrorism - It is ignorance. If society is to ever improve as a whole over the long-term, the level of wisdom and intelligence within humanity must improve.
Health:
- A far greater focus on how to develop a healthier and happy mind, not just a healthy body. The majority of the problems in the world today relate to the problems of the mind. These involve greed, hate, fear, anger, stress, lies, distrust, resentment, hypocrisy, power games, possessiveness, insecurity, ...
International Trade:
- The implementation of new trade practices to ensure greater cooperation within the world community.
The Environment:
- The immediate implementation of an international enviromental protection policy to halt the damage to the worlds natural environment and its wildlife.
- A new strategy to make full use of 'clean' sources of energy.
- The implementation of a worldwide recycling program.
Science & Technology:
- The international sharing of core scientific research knowledge to ensure faster progress for humanity in all scientific fields. In some rare cases (as in nuclear research), such access would need to work on a protected security level basis.
- The development of focused scientific research teams in key areas of medicine, physics, energy development, etc. to help address the key challenges that we are faced with today.
Human Rights:
- The implementation of a new humans rights standard - No person shall suffer at the hands of a leader that abuses their power or responsibility. Upon investigation, if any leader or group is found to be responsible for such action, the 'International Representative Government' should have the authority to remove that person from authority and all related people involved in carrying out the abusive crime.
- With the implementation of Political Leadership Standards (PLS), such human rights abuse will no longer occur.
National Security:
- With the establishment of a true 'international community', the focus is no longer on the security of any one country. Countries will no longer 'oppose one another over competitive interests'. They will be working together. Security will be more 'internationally based', much like the peace-keeping force of the United Nations today.
- The serious consideration of a practical strategy to help protect the Earth from any possible asteroid or astrological events which could threaten the survival of every species on this planet. While we have been busy fighting amongst ourselves over the years, the Earth has come close to being 'seriously' hit on a number of occasions. We have done very little in the way of implementing a global warning and defense system for such possible events. Even taking into account the unlikely odds of it happening, eventually the odds go against you. We need to be prepared. Another possible hit is predicted to occur soon.
Food & Resources:
- Food and resources need to be better managed. There is a great deal of inefficiency and wastage in the world due to various mis-management and competitive trading practices. In a cooperative framework, efficiency levels will dramatically improve and there will be far less wastage, which in the coming years will be vitally important.
